Shiloh — Small Country Church
And He said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into your [kingdom].
And Jesus said unto him, barely I say unto you today, he should be with me in [paradise].
He still extended the [grace].
- When have you experienced God's grace in your darkest moments? How did it change you?
- Is there someone in your life who needs to hear about God's grace today? How might you extend that grace to them?
This was the darkest day in the life of our Lord and Savior [Jesus Christ].
He looks at Jesus and says, remember me when you come into your [kingdom].
Jesus in the middle of all of his agony that we'll never know tells him, today you will be with me in [heaven].
He says in the book of Isaiah, by his stripes, we are [healed].
- What does it mean to you that Jesus suffered willingly for your sake?
- How does knowing 'by His stripes we are healed' speak to a wound or struggle you're carrying today?
He looks at and says, I'll save you and I [love] you.
I will pay the price for the burden of your sin and offer you [forgiveness].
You just have to [believe].
Even in our brokenness, even in your brokenness, even at the darkest times, the light shines [through].
- What areas of brokenness in your life do you need to bring before Jesus today?
- How have you seen God's light shine through in your darkest times?
The three days later, the light shines [through].
Up from the grave of your rose, the stone was rolled [back].
That Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, that Jesus [remembers] you.
Jesus remembers you and Jesus will carry you [home].
- What does the empty tomb mean for your life today, not just for eternity?
- How does knowing that Jesus remembers you change the way you face this week ahead?
