- In what relationship do you need to take initiative toward peace today, even if the other person hasn't made the first move?
- What is one small, practical way you can 'start with the word' and lead your family spiritually this week?
Old things pass away all things become [new].
You have to call it out you have to name it you have to label it [sin].
You need to position yourself deeply and closely to [Christ] and the best way to do that is in the church.
Invite people to join you give them [permission] to call you out and to help you.
- Is there a pattern of sin in your family's history that you need to name and repent of today?
- Who in your life has permission to hold you accountable? If no one does, who can you invite into that role this week?
If you're a Christian your identity is not in your sexuality it's in the finished work of [Jesus] on the cross for you.
[Repentance] is the mark of the Christian.
John chapter one I love it how it describes Jesus it says that he was full of [grace] and truth.
Our goal is to look like [Jesus] which means we're gonna try to do both of those things at the same time grace and truth.
- In what area of your life do you need to hold both grace and truth together, rather than choosing one over the other?
- How can you show the love of Christ to someone whose lifestyle you disagree with, without compromising biblical truth?
A man leaves his father and mother cleaves to his wife and the two become [one flesh] in that order.
You leave cleave and then one flesh in that [order].
Just because we're preachers don't mean we're [stupid].
- If you're dating, what boundaries do you need to set to honor God's design for sex and marriage?
- How can you trust God's timing and order for relationships, even when the world says something different?
Two words are just really important for this [forgiveness] and grace.
Assume the [best] about each other and not the worst.
Prioritize each other over the [kids] you know cuz that's what's gonna be there when the kids leave.
